6/18: Awake and out of our apartment by 0730 with fun smoothies from the local Krónan in hand for our 1030 flight to Stockholm. Uncle Mats will be waiting for us once we get there!
We packed into his Volvo and drove about 1 hr to Norrtalje to meet Mats’ mom for a short visit before heading to the ferry taking us to Aland.

Made it to Aland! Their friend, Nene, arrived to help get all of us to their home (about 45 min drive).
We arrived at their house about midnight and it’s still light out! A little darker than Iceland, but not much. What a beautiful scene at their new home on the water! We loved looking at everything, inside and out.
We were now 3 hours ahead of Iceland, and combined with the daylight and excitement of arriving and being with family, it was tough to go to bed! We finally did by 2:15am :-)
