7/15: We drove to the top of the gondola of Saint Lary ski resort and looked around a bit - fun to explore a different resort during the off season
We drove back to Loudenvielle as the temps were warm and we spied a cool water park in a lake yesterday.

The drive was another stunner. |
We just love these little towns. |
Fun scene but COLD water! Kids said it was chillier than Åland! Good thing wetsuits were included! |
Simone’s yoga pose in the middle :-) |
Bob and I rented a paddle boat for 1 hr and toodled around the little lake while the kids played. |

Happy hour lakeside |
Dinner and laundry at home and getting ready for our last day in St. Lary tomorrow. Doing laundry in Norway, England, and France necessitates planning ahead - the humidity and lack of a drier means we need to do the wash with plenty of time to dry before moving to our next place!
7/16: Since we have fallen in love with the fresh baguettes, ham, cheese, and butter sandwiches, we sent Quinn and Simone out in the morning for the fresh baguettes. It has been really nice to stay put for these 5 nights in Saint Lary. We all have settled in a bit, and the familiarity has been a welcome change. It was fun for the kids to venture out together for the 5 minute walk to the bread shop!

Success! |
We set out for a mountain hike, and ended up driving through the clouds to find a clear blue day up above! |
After the hike we enjoyed our picnic by the lake. |
Our coveted sandwiches on display :-) |
A short walk around Saint Lary while watching the paragliders, and home to pack up to leave tomorrow. We have LOVED this town, and our apartment has been wonderful.
