10/15: This is Bob's summary phrase of enjoying the Dolomites. It is a picture everywhere you look! We had gorgeous weather for our last day here. We spent the day touring and did two short hikes with so many amazing views. It was a school day, and sightseeing instead of schoolwork made the kids a bit uneasy, but we were confident they would get it done later in the week. We all were so glad they came with us - we had a fabulous day together!

| To me, the Dolomites are like a combination of the Rockies and Moab. The peaks are jagged like the Rockies, but it seems like they go straight up like the rocks in Moab. |
