7/8: we got a slow start after some Apple Fitness exercise and some future travel planning. We had the day to do some touristy London things. Henry was gone for the day but Matteo agreed to come with us and be our guide on the tube and around town. We saw the London Eye and ended up at the Dungeons, which Matteo said was one of his favorite things. We didn’t know anything about it before we arrived, but it ended up exceeding our expectations and Quinn and Simone especially enjoyed it. We learned about some English history in an entertaining way and each of us (except Simone) got called out of the crowd to participate in the fun. No pictures as no cameras allowed in the dungeons.
While it was a fun activity, it took quite a bit of time (1.5 hrs) especially when we got a late start. Bob and I needed to get home so we could clean up and get ready for our concert at the Royal Albert Concert Hall with Victoria (Paul had left for Milan for work). We did enjoy some of the sights on our way back home.
We went home, cleaned up, fed the 4 kids dinner and left for the show. Victoria drove and parked basically right outside the venue entrance. Bob and I were completely amazed how close she was able to park! She told us, “this is my city!”

She walked out into the crowd - she’s clearly pointing her mic right at us. |

What an incredible evening! The scene, lighting, and sound was just unforgettable. We agreed we’d go back and see any show there!
Home to get our things packed up as we’re leaving London in the morning and heading to Bayeux, France
